BeamSource Sourcing Privacy Policy

BeamSource Sourcing collects business contact details and project notes so it can request and compare factory quotations. This policy describes that use. It is not a promise that a supplier will keep the same limits after you choose to deal with them directly.

Details the form asks for

The form fields are name, work email, phone, company, and the procurement requirement. If scripts run, optional product interest, budget, currency, per-unit or whole-order basis, and supplier preference are added to the requirement text at submission. They are not separate stored columns on this website. If scripts are off, the same facts belong in the requirement box in your own words.

Why the details are used

The desk uses them to understand the building, to ask factories relevant questions, and to reply to you. A destination and a quantity are procurement facts, not marketing segments. The desk does not sell the brief as a mailing list. Supplier preference is treated as your instruction about finish and service, not as a public score.

Who may see the brief

People operating this desk can read what you submit. Factories asked to quote may receive the technical and commercial parts needed to answer. They should not receive more than that. If you include unrelated personal data in the free-text box, consider removing it before you send. Hosting and mail providers that transmit the form see the content as part of delivery.

How long notes are kept

Inquiry correspondence is kept long enough to finish the comparison you asked for, to answer a follow-up, and to meet ordinary business record needs. This page does not state a universal deletion date, because a live quotation thread and a closed one are not the same file. You may ask what remains on a named brief by writing through the contact form.

Cookies and the benefit notice

The sourcing notice uses local storage for the first time it was shown and session storage if you hide the bar. That storage is about the notice window, not about building a profile of your project. The inquiry form itself does not require an account.

Your requests

You may ask for a copy of the brief you sent, a correction, or a stop to further factory outreach on that brief. Use the contact form and identify the company name and destination you used. Some records may be retained where a legal or accounting duty applies. This policy sits beside the terms of service and does not change the technical boundary that compliance and price stay with the supplier who quotes.
